The new Sage 300 Action Group steps up

Sage 300 VARs & ISVs are invited to participate in this exciting new forum for the Sage 300 community.

The Origin Story

It all started with a discussion that followed a Sage Business Partner Advisory Council (BPAC) meeting last year.

BPAC is a strategic forum, hosted by Sage, for an invited group of leading Sage VARS. Insights and feedback can be shared directly with Sage, providing valuable input into their planning.

That’s all well and good, but an important voice seemed to be missing. Where were the ISVs?

As Mich Martins, CEO of MWare Consulting, puts it: “An ERP vendor brings a horizontal product to the market, but if I'm looking to put a square peg in a round hole, then the ISV products come to the fore.

Anyone who pays attention to articles published on the Orchid site will be aware of the importance of TPAC (Third Party Advantage Conference) in promoting 3rd Party (ISV) offerings to the Sage 300 community. But what if the enthusiasm that TPAC generates at its annual events could be built on throughout the year?

A group of prominent Sage 300 partners recognised this gap and saw an opportunity.

The result was the formation of the new Sage 300 Action Group.

Benefits of Membership

Mich Martins was happy to take on the role of group spokesperson. He has been busy explaining and promoting it in feature articles like these on the ITWeb website and Sage CRM Community Hub.

In Mich’s words:

Sage 300 Action Group is not ‘just another discussion forum’, but is instead a movement.

The group is open to anyone working in the Sage 300 space and already boasts well over 300 members. It allows them to:

  • Connect with Like-Minded Professionals: VARs and ISVs together in one ecosystem
  • Gain Exclusive Insights: ISVs aren’t invited to Sage BPAC (Business Partner Advisory Council), but we make sure they have a voice here
  • Strengthen Sage 300’s Longevity: ISVs add the critical horizontal breadth that keeps Sage 300 robust and scalable
  • Grow Their Business: Explore new opportunities, collaborations, and ways to expand your offering

Members can participate in:

  • Quarterly Ecosystem Meetings
  • Monthly ISV Spotlight Sessions
  • Sage 300 Action Group WhatsApp Community (“Where the real magic happens!”)
