We recently reported on the Sydney 2018 Invictus Games, held in late October. It was a huge success, and we were very appreciative of Sage's support as a Premier Partner.

All the goodwill in the air from that event, plus the rapidly approaching festive season, has put us in a charitable mood. It started us thinking about the many Not-For-Profits (NFPs) that use Sage 300, and Orchid add-ons.

This month's featured news article on Not For Profits discusses which Orchid products have proven particularly popular with NFPs, and why.

Many other non-profit entities, including local and regional governments, and First Nations bodies, have taken up our Sage 300 add-ons for similar reasons. Our featured Case Study below gives one recent example.

Kativik Regional Government (KRG) serves 14 communities, but just 11,000 inhabitants, spread over a huge area of northern Quebec. With 5 bank accounts and 10 intercompany accounts to maintain and reconcile, their finance staff were spread almost as thin as their constituents.

KRG's solution provider, D&A Business Management Solutions, recommended Orchid's Inter Entity Transactions to help get things under control.

KRG's Finance Director, Francois Ouellette, said the results not only exceeded their expectations, but that...

"Inter Entity proved to be one our best investments in years."
